It’s been a while since I’ve mentioned The Skateboarding Dream, a fictional book that will be coming out soon. March had a lot of things in it and now April will probably be more focused on the book. To start off April, here is the cover reveal for The Skateboarding Dream!
I designed the cover for The Skateboarding Dream. The cover is actually a picture took from a video clip from a few years ago that I had. In this clip, I am skateboarding on a past skateboard I owned (which I actually still have, I just don’t currently ride it.). I chose the font on the cover because I wanted the font to look like someone’s handwriting and still be readable. For a long time I didn’t have the exact idea of what I wanted the cover to look like, but I have had a general idea of it. I always wanted it to have someone skateboarding and to have the font look like someone’s handwriting. When I got the video clip, I decided then that I wanted it on the cover.
