1 Year Anniversary of the Release of Dreams and Journeys

It is amazing that a year ago (As of Saturday, the 26th) I released my first album, Dreams and Journeys. I have a lot of thoughts/feelings on it.

A lot of my feelings about this are that I feel like between the release of Dreams and Journeys and where I’m at now, that I’ve been/I’m in two different places. Not just physically, but also skill and knowledge wise.

Yes, this first album didn’t make it big, but that’s always been okay with me because the first step of actually doing something with my music is what is more important. I’ve realized so much since that time. The album Dreams and Journeys will be a good/important memory in the history of Skateagy because it was the first album and what started it all. In a way the album was saying, I am willing to try for something I want to do, someone I want to be. Now there is so much to put into practice/action now with everything that I’ve learned which makes it seem like I am in a different place now than a year ago.

There are also some things that the Dreams and Journeys album talks about that still hold true for me/Skateagy. One being that Journey’s Don’t End, another being that I am still on a journey trying to achieve my dreams. There is much more in the future whether I am working on it currently or whether I will be working on it some other time.
